Alabama Vipers News Release
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Tennessee Valley Vipers and the Huntsville Havoc are ready to give fans a rewarding opportunity to catch all the great action of arenafootball2 and Southern Professional League playoff hockey.
Fans are invited to visit Best Buy on University Drive on Thursday and Friday where they can purchase tickets to either the Vipers' Friday night home opener against the Alabama Steeldogs or the Huntsville Havoc's playoff game against Fayetteville on Saturday. Both games start at 7:30 and $3 from each ticket purchased will be donated to charity. In addition there will be an opportunity to win a big screen television and a $5,000 shopping spree from Best Buy.
"We see this as a rare opportunity to promote both the Havoc and the Vipers,'' Havoc and Vipers president Keith Jeffries said. "We've got a pair of huge games this weekend and that coupled with a great sponsor and friend in Best Buy will make this a special event. The fans will have a chance to win some good prizes and the other motivation is being able to raise some money for charity. It's just a good timing thing for us."
The event will run from 11 a.m. until close Thursday and 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Friday. Clay Sanders from Rocket 95.1 will be on sight Thursday from 2-6 p.m. Both Chaos and Vinnie the Viper, the Aaron's Dream Team along with Havoc and Vipers team representatives will be on hand for the event.
