Manchester Wolves News Release

The arenafootball2 league office announced this week that Keith Easley has been assigned to the Manchester Wolves, New Hampshire's professional arenafootball2 team. Easley will resume the duties that he began in 2003 as Assistant Coach/Defensive Coordinator of the Wolves.

Easley was a big part of the coaching staff that led the Wolves during their 2005 East Division Champion season as he ranked among the top Assistant Coaches in the league and received strong support for the Assistant Coach of the Year Award. The Norfolk, Virginia native is also the only coach on the Wolves staff that has attended every game since their arrival to Manchester in 2004.

Before joining the Wolves coaching staff in 2003, Easley spent four years with the af2's Norfolk Nighthawks. While there, he served in several capacities, both as a coach and in the office. During the 2002-2003 season, his responsibilities included Vice President of Operations, Special Teams Coach and Defensive Backs Coach. Before that, he was an Account Executive, Director of Football Operations, as well as Director of Special Operations.

With the addition of Easley the Wolves coaching staff is now complete, returning all four coaches from the last two seasons. Along with Easley, the staff includes Head Coach Ben Bennett and Assistant Coaches Ryan Ray and Mark Page. The Wolves also added Strength and Conditioning Coach Joil Bergeron this season. In the last two seasons the Wolves have compiled an impressive 21-11 record which includes the franchise's first: 10-game win streak (2005), East Division title (2005), first home playoff victory (2006) and consecutive trips to the second round of the af2 playoffs (2005-2006).

"Keith is a big part of our team's success," said Bennett. "I'm really excited to now have the entire coaching staff returning for a third season, which I know will be a successful one."

Easley is a 1993 graduate from Norfolk State University with a degree in Architectural Design. He keeps active in the community as a participant in the Big Brother/Big Sister program while also working full-time in Manchester at Easter Seals.
