
Berti Recalled From Gwinnett

Rockford, Ill.- Chicago Blackhawks General Manager of Minor League Affiliations Mark Bernard announced on Thursday that winger Adam Berti was recalled from loan from the Gwinnett Gladiators (ECHL).
Berti, the 68th pick (round three) by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, began the season with the Rockford IceHogs and played in four games. The winger tallied the game-winning goal in Rockford's 2-1 win over Iowa on Oct. 13.
In six games with Gwinnett, Berti has 2g-3a-5pts. Berti was re-assigned to the Gladiators after the Fresno Falcons folded on Dec. 23. The Oshawa, Ontario native skated in 29 games with the Falcons this season accumulating 3g-6a-9pts.
The 6-3, 208-pound winger made his NHL debut with the Blackhawks last season and played in two games with the NHL club.
Next Home Game: Friday, Jan. 16 vs. Chicago Wolves. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. For the final time this season, the Wolves come to Rockford. The first 1,000 fans 21-and-older to the game on Friday will pick up an IceHogs Jersey Koozie presented by Bud Light and the Eagle 96.7 FM.
