Moose Release Fox from PTO

The Manitoba Moose announced today they have released forward Jordan Fox from his professional tryout contract.

Fox, 24, appeared in five games with the Moose after signing his PTO on Jan. 06/09. He collected his assist in his first game as a Moose on Jan. 6/09 vs. Hartford. The Kirkwood, MO native has also played in 32 games so far this season with the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL where he's scored 33 points (14-19-33) and 20 penalty minutes. Last season, Fox played in eight games with the Albany River Rats where he scored three points (2-1-3) and 19 penalty minutes. In his three year pro career, Fox has played in 140 IHL games with the Flint Generals where he's scored 96 points (39-57-96) and 186 penalty minutes.
