Pensacola Blue Wahoos News Release
PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Cincinnati Reds have announced that Blue Wahoos catcher Lou Marson has been placed on the disabled list with a strained right shoulder. To fill the void, Chris Berset returns to the Blue Wahoos from Louisville.
Marson had caught seven games for the Blue Wahoos since joining the team in early July when Berset went on the disabled list with a wrist sprain. He played for parts of six seasons in the Major Leagues from 2008-2013.
Berset played in 20 games for the Wahoos this season before heading up to Triple-A Louisville. He played in just one game during his time with the Bats.
