
Bennefield Placed On 14-Day Injured Reserve

Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees News Release
HIDALGO, Texas - The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees of the Central Hockey League (CHL) today placed forward Jesse Bennefield on the 14-day injured reserve list retroactive to Feb. 14.
Bennefield leads RGV in scoring with 56 points (24-32-56), is eighth overall in the league and is tied for fourth in CHL goal scoring.
His undisclosed injuries occurred at Laredo on Feb. 14 when he was checked into the corner boards.
The Killer Bees (20-21-7, 47 pts) return home to face Rapid City this Friday at 7:30 PM after visiting Laredo again on Thursday.
