It was a fun filled afternoon at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre when the players took to the ice for the Bell Skills Competition and Intra Squad Game for the Canadian Cancer Society. Despite being Super Bowl Sunday and the weather being the nicest it has been in weeks, over 500 fans filled the Bayshore to watch team Beskorowany take on team Stajcer. Listed Below is the individual winners for each event.

Team Puck Control Relay

Winners- Joe Vanni, Joey Hishon and Keevin Cutting (Team Beskorowany) 1:01 seconds

Individual Puck Control Relay

Winner- David Kolomatis (Team Beskorowany) 22.5 seconds

Hardest Shot

Winner- Mark Ramkema (Team Stajcer) 93 MPH

Runner Up- Josh Moes (Team Beskorowany) 91MPH

Fastest Skater

Winner- Myles Doan (Team Beskorowany) 14.55 seconds

Runner Up- Josh Ocampo (Team Stajcer) 14.80 seconds

Winners- David Kolomatis, Steven Shipley, Keevin Cutting (Team Beskorowany) 3 goals

Breakaway Relay

Team Beskorowany- 3 goals

Team Stajcer- 0 goals

Tyler Beskorowany provided the highlights for the shoot-out, stopping all 11 shooters and also adding a highlight goal for his own team when he slipped the puck between his legs and went behind his back for a goal on fellow netminder Scott Stajcer.

Team Beskorowany defeated Team Stajcer by a final score of 25-23, which included over 20 goals scored in the 30:00 minute 3 on 3 game. Bell Aliant and the Attack were able to raise over $1200.00 for the Canadian Cancer Society.
