The Salt Lake Bees went off on Saturday evening against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox as they won 14-2 in front of 6,531 fans at Security Service Field.
Every single Bees position player had a run scored and an RBI on the night as they feasted on Sox pitching. Catcher Bobby Wilson finished the night 4-for-5 with a double to go along with two runs scored and two RBIs to lead the charge for Salt Lake. Sean Rodriguez also hit his 29th home run of the season for the Bees.
The lone highlight for the night for the Sox came in the eighth inning when former AL MVP Jason Giambi hit his first home run for Colorado Springs. His tater came off reliever Shane Loux and hit off the top of the wall in left centerfield and bounced over the wall.
The final game of the five-game series is set for tomorrow afternoon at 1:05 PM with RH Brandon Hynick (10-8, 3.68) taking the hill for the Sox versus RH Brad Knox (7-8, 5.46).
