Beer Garden to Open in Hensville Park
July 17, 2020 - International League (IL1)
Toledo Mud Hens News Release
TOLEDO, OH- Fleetwood's Beer Garden opens on Friday, July 24, with a great lineup of beer, seltzers and wine and coincides with the Detroit Tigers' Taxi Squad coming to Toledo to train at Fifth Third Field.
Located in Hensville Park, Fleetwood's Beer Garden adds more outdoor seating downtown, and is the perfect open-air setting to take in some sun and sip on a couple of cold ones. The space is complete with picnic tables for plenty of seating.
Don't forget to wear a mask. You will need it to enter Fleetwood's Beer Garden and you must keep it on until everyone is seated, and when you leave the table to visit the bar or restroom. Social distant seating will be in place to allow proper spacing between groups with picnic tables placed six feet away from the next group.
Hungry? Feel free to bring your carry-out food from one of the area restaurants, or pack a picnic, and bring it with you. Pre-packaged snacks, Toft's Ice Cream and Lemon Ice will be available for purchase. Outside alcohol and DORA cups will not be permitted in Hensville Park.
Fleetwood's Beer Garden is a family- and dog on leash friendly hangout, and is open every Friday and Saturday, 4-10 p.m., from July 24 through August 29.
Tigers Taxi Squad: Fans are not currently allowed inside the stadium to watch the Tigers' train. We are working with the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department to put a plan together to reopen both Fleetwood's and Holy Toledo Tavern Rooftops. Details will be announced when finalized. Indoor dining at Fleetwood's Tap Room and Rooftop access remains closed at this time.
