Louisville Slugger Field to host Movie Night

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Louisville Bats have announced they will be opening up the ballpark to fans on Friday, July 24 for a special showing of the movie "Field of Dreams" as part of Movie Night at Slugger Field presented by iHeartRadio.

"At a time when Louisville Bats baseball is not being played, Movie Night provides us with an event where we can safely welcome fans back to the ballpark. With the opening of the shortened MLB season the same weekend, we felt it was the perfect opportunity to allow fans to relax and enjoy the classic baseball movie "Field of Dreams" in a unique setting such as Louisville Slugger Field", explains Executive Vice President Greg Galiette.

The movie, which will begin at 7:00 PM, will be presented on two large high-definition video board screens within the ballpark. Seating for fans will be set-up on the field to observe social distancing guidelines. Fans will be able to purchase a 10'x10' space for up to four (4) people on the field for only $20. Or, fans can purchase a large 10'x20' space on the field for only $40 which can provide enough room for up to eight (8) people.

Parking is free for all attendees. Concessions will be available throughout the event. Gates for the event open at 6:00 PM.

COVID-19 health safety protocols will be observed and all fans are asked to wear a mask when attending the event.
