Beef Sign Two NIFL Veterans

Omaha, Nebraska – Omaha Beef Football is pleased to announce the signing of two veteran National Indoor Football League players for the 2004 season.

Running back LeAndre Moore resigned with the Beef for a third year. The 5' 10" – 230 lb back from Ball State was third on the school's all-team leading rusher stats with 2080 career yards.

Charles Verdone, a 6' – 190 lb defensive back was name to two all American teams while playing at Benedictine University. In 1999 he led Division III in interceptions with 10. After graduation, he has led the Tri-City Diesel (Kearney, Nebraska NIFL) in interceptions the last three years including six in 2003.

The signings bring the Beef to 11 singed for the 2004 season.
