Monday, February 06, 2006, Omaha, Nebraska - The Beef will be taking their talent to the hoop tomorrow in our annual Hope Center Basketball Game. Newly signed players and coaches will take on the Varsity boy's basketball team.
The Hope Center is located at 2220 North 20th Street and the doors open at 5:30 P.M. A pre-game slam-dunk contest will begin at 6:30 and will be judged by Tracy Jacim and Taylor Wilson from Fox 42. Tip off is set for 7:05 P.M.
The Hope Center is a non-profit organization that serves as a safe-haven for inner-city children. The vision of the center is to raise a generation with purity, passion and promise and to provide a place of refuge, education, recreation and teaching of daily living skills to over 500 youth and children in the north Omaha area.
