
Beef Add Six More to Roster for Training Camp

OMAHA, NE: The Omaha Beef continues adding players, just recently signing six more to the training camp roster. The six players, Dwayne Griffin, Bryan Church, Matt Lowney, Marquiste Ramos, Isaac West, and Terrael Williams Jr, all look to beef up both sides of the ball.
Dwayne Griffin (DB), comes from University of Memphis where he finished his career with 33 punt returns for 209 yards, as well as 59 kick returns for 1,162 yards. He was presented the Black and Blue Award at the 2010 team banquet.
Bryan Church (DL), comes from Ouachita Baptist University where, just in March, he participated in the NFL Pro Day. He worked out indoors on field turf, posting 40 times of 5 seconds flat, a 29-inch vertical, 8-4 broad jump, 4.56 short shuttle, 7.46 three-cone drill, and 21 strength lifts.
Matt Lowney (OL), comes from St. John Fisher College where he was a 3 year starter, starting in 31 games. He was the 2011 All American Bowl Linemen of the Game. He was also invited to both the Regional NFL Elite Combine at Ohio State as well as the National NFL Elite Combine at Ford Field Lions Stadium in Detroit.
Marquiste Ramos (DL), comes from Florida A&M where he recorded 19 tackles, 2.5 tackles for a loss of 18 yards, 1.5 sacks for a loss of 15 yards, one forced fumble, and quarterback hurry in the nine games that he played in.
Isaac West (WR), comes from Florida A&M where he started in 11 games and finished as the leader in receiving yardage with 641 yards on 36 catches with two TD's, ranking him third in the conference in receiving yards at 58.6 yards per game.
Terrael Williams, Jr. (OL), comes from Jackson State University where he was named to the 2010 preseason All-SWAC second team. Williams assisted the JSU offensive line that helped JSU running backs rush for 752 yards and QB's pass for 1,599 yards.
The Beef have made progression with signing these 6 players, at 6'8", 345 pounds, Terrael Williams, Jr. really looks to add to the Beef offensive line. Williams was a key player for Jackson State University. "Team Williams" is ecstatic about Terrael becoming an addition to the 2012 roster. Terry Williams, father of Terrael, stated "We give thanks and honor to Jesus Christ. Coach Wilson saw four years of talent at
JSU, and saw that Terrael had what it took and gave Cowdrey the call. We are Terrael's support system; we support the Beef, and the city of Omaha." Terrael is grateful that Cowdrey is giving him the chance to prove himself and give him the chance to get to the next level. "This is a blessing and an exciting experience to be in Omaha for the 1st time in my life. I look forward to being a key part to a championship run, no matter what work is needed; I will do what it takes," stated Terrael. "I'm really welcoming this experience." Also, welcoming Williams to Omaha is Head Coach Bruce Cowdrey who stated, "With Terraels size, athletic ability, and mental makeup, he will be a great addition to this football team. He has a bright future in football and has what it takes to make it to that higher level of ball."
The BEEF are celebrating their 13th year of Professional Indoor Football in Omaha, NE. Home games are played February through June.
