Toronto - The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is holding auditions for the 2006 Blue Thunder Cheerleaders. Now is your chance to become a part of Toronto's most exciting and established cheerleading team. On the field, you'll capture the attention of more than 30,000 Argo fans at Rogers Centre. In the stands, you'll meet the most dedicated sports fans and perform pre-game outside of Rogers Centre. This is your opportunity to meet some amazing people, support some meaningful charity events and act as a role model for many young fans.

If you are female, 19 years and over, reliable, physically fit with dance, cheer or gymnastics experience and a great attitude - we want you to try out! The Argonauts cheerleaders have been cheering on the boys in Blue for 30 years and are perennial fan favourites. Under the guidance of Head Coach Mailie Harris, the 2006 team is sure to wow fans of The Boatmen.

Here are the details for the auditions:

PRELIMINARIES: Sunday, April 9, 2006

REGISTRATION: 9:30 A.M.

TIME: 9:30 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.

LOCATION: Capitol Event Theatre, 2792 Yonge Street,Toronto, Ontario

FEE: $20

FINALS: Saturday, April 15, 2006 at Vaughan Mills
