Las Vegas Aces News Release
NEW YORK - The WNBA announced today that Las Vegas Head Coach Becky Hammon is the league's Coach of the Month for May of 2022. Hammon becomes the first coach to win the award in her first month at the helm.
The Colorado State grad led the Aces to a 9-1 record in May. That is the best record in the league, and the best 10-game start for a rookie head coach in WNBA history. Hammon has the Aces averaging a league-best 109.8 points per 100 possessions, and a league-high 91.8 points per game. They are currently on a seven-game winning streak heading into Thursday evening's game against the Connecticut Sun.
