
Betnijah Laney Medical Update

New York Liberty News Release
NEW YORK - June 1, 2022 - New York Liberty guard/forward Betnijah Laney underwent a successful arthroscopic partial meniscectomy on her right knee today at Hospital for Special Surgery.
The procedure was performed by Dr. Riley Williams and Dr. Gabriella Ode, the Liberty's orthopedic surgeons at Hospital for Special Surgery. She will begin rehabilitation with the team's performance staff in the coming days and is estimated to return in approximately eight weeks.
Further updates will be provided as appropriate. Out of respect of her privacy, Betnijah will not be taking media interviews at this time.
