
Beavers feature two summer baseball camps at PGE Park

PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Beavers hitting coach Tommy Sandt and select Beavers players will conduct two baseball camps this summer at PGE Park, sponsored by OregonLive.com and the San Diego Padres.
The Beavers have a strong commitment to promote the development of amateur baseball in Oregon and Southwest Washington. Camp participants will receive professional instruction in hitting, pitching, catching and fielding in a relaxed and fun environment.
The first camp will be held July 16-18 from 9 a.m. to noon. The second session will take place from August 13-15, also from 9 a.m. to noon.
Ages included are 7-13 and campers will be separated according to age and skill level.
The cost is $125 per camper and includes nine hours of instruction, a Beavers T-shirt, a souvenir program and a ticket to the Beavers game to be held at the conclusion of each camp.
