
Beausoleil Named CHL Player Of Month

Tulsa Oilers right winger Michel Beausoleil is the Sher-Wood/Central Hockey League Player of the Month for November.
Beausoleil had points in all 12 Oiler games in November (and currently has a 14 game point streak) registering seven goals and 16 assists for 23 points. He was also a +9 for the month.
"When we signed Mike, we knew he would be this kind of explosive offensive player," Oiler coach Dan Hodge said. "He certainly is one of the most exciting and dangerous players in the league. And along with his talent he also has a great work ethic that's creating his success."
Among the highlights of Beausoleil's month was a two goal three assist performance in a 6-5 Oilers win November 14^th at Colorado. He remains the only visiting player to have a game winning goal at Colorado this season. He was named CHL/Oakley player of the for the week that ended November 16^th . His selecton as player of the month comes one day after teammate Jeff Christian was named Oakley/CHL Player of the Week for last week.
Beausoleil and the Oilers will be in action Tuesday night hosting the Texas Brahmas at 7:05 p.m. On Saturday they will host the Oklahoma City Blazers at 7:35 p.m. that will be the Oilers annual Teddy Bear toss to benefit the Salvation Army. Fans are asked to bring teddy bears to the game, and throw them on the ice after the first Oilers goal. The bears will be collected and donated to the Salvation Army for distribution.
Saturday is also guaranteed win night. If the Oilers don't beat Oklahoma City, each fan in attendance will receive a ticket voucher that can be redeemed for a free ticket for the Oilers home game against the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs on Tuesday December 30^th .
