
Jacks Win Fifth Straight, 3-1

(Odessa, TX) - Brian Swiniarski's ninth goal of the season broke a 1-1 tie in the third period as the Jacks won their fifth consecutive game Tuesday night over the Arizona Sundogs, 3-1 in Odessa.
After a scoreless first period, Phil Plante put the Jacks up 1-0 scoring at 10:08 of the second period and that would be the only goal until the third.
Swiniarski scored the go ahead marker after Tyler Liebel tied the game up at 5:00 of the third period. Dave Van Drunen added an empty net goal to make the final score 3-1.
Jacks goalie Juha Toivonen left the game in the first period with a knee injury, an MRI will be performed tomorrow.
