
Beaton Takes Grey Cup on Maritimes Road Trip

Edmonton, AB â Edmonton Eskimo offensive lineman and Nova Scotia native Bruce Beaton will play host to the Grey Cup from January 22 â 25, 2004. The 11-year CFL veteran and perennial all-star will be making a number of stops over the weekend giving local football fans a chance to see the oldest trophy in North American professional sports.
The four-day odyssey includes visits to Middleton, New Minas, Wolfville and Beaton's hometown of Port Hood. "There are a lot of football fans out here and getting a chance to see the Grey Cup will be the thrill of a lifetime for many of them," said Beaton.
