Beaton Returns to Barnstormers

DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers have re-signed defensive lineman Jordon Beaton to the 2023 roster, Head Coach Dave Mogensen announced today.
Beaton (6-2, 315, South Alabama) returns to the Iowa Barnstormers for his second season with the team. In his rookie Indoor Football League (IFL) season, Beaton appeare din 17 games with the Barnstormers where he tallied 19.5 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, and two forced fumbles.
"I am happy to have Jordon back in the mix to compete along the defensive line this upcoming season," said Head Coach Mogensen. "Jordon had been off the field for quite awhile due to covid and we think he didn't reach his full potential in 2022 with his baseline of skills, if he can hit those levels in 2023 he could be a dominating presence on our defense."
Beaton will return to Des Moines to enter the Iowa Barnstormers 2023 Training Camp in the Spring.
