
Bears Hungry In 6-1 Win Over Tennessee

Mobile, AL-Mobile plates six unanswered runs on route to 6-1 win snapping the Smokies five-game winning streak at Hank Aaron Stadium Tuesday Night.
Tennessee scored first with one in the top of the first inning. Casey McGehee singled in Jemel Spearman.
Trailing 1-0 Mobile evened the score in the third inning. Wilkin Castillo grounded out to score the run.
The Bears took the lead in the fourth on a two-out run Aaron Cunningham single.
Mobile then blew the game open with a four run seventh. They sent nine to the plate which was highlighted by Cesar Nicolas. He launched a bases loaded doubled to right scoring two. Chris Rahl added a sacrifice fly to bring home a third run.
Mark Holliman pitched five and two-thirds innings for Tennessee yielding two runs on eight hits in the loss. Esmerling Vazquez went six and one-thirds for the win his tenth of the year. Vazquez allowed six hits and one run with four strikeouts.
Tennessee still owns an eleven game lead over Chattanooga for the North division wildcard spot (if Huntsville wins the second half) and remain only one game back of the Stars for first with thirteen games remaining. Donnie Veal (6-9) will start for Tennessee while Max Schezer (2-4) is scheduled for the Mobile.
