Eric Perrin earns number one star of the game honors for notching three assists as HERSHEY defeats Bridgeport 3-1 at GIANT Center Saturday night.
Marek Svatos opened the scoring with his fourth goal of the season at the 8:28 mark of the first period. Perrin and Rivers assisted on the goal on the power play for a 1-0 lead. Mathieu Darche scored at 8:36 of the second period to build the lead to 2-0. The goal was Darche's tenth of the season. Jamie Rivers scored his second goal of the season to round out the scoring for HERSHEY. The three power play goals scored by the BEARS Saturday was the first time since March 21, 2004 that the Chocolate and White scored three goals on the man advantage.
HERSHEY closes out the weekend with a home game with the Lowell Lock Monsters Sunday. Face-off is at 5:00 p.m.
