Maryland Black Bears News Release
The Maryland Black Bears took the first of two games this weekend against the Northeast Generals of Attleboro, MA, tonight as they walked away with a 4-2 victory.
The Bears were led by Quinn Warmuth and Lukas Ljungblom who each had one goal and one assist. Despite surrendering a goal in the first minute of the game, the Black Bears tied it 1-1 late in the first in the comeback effort. Thomas Jarman and Daylon Mannon also contributed to the scoring, each with a goal. David Tomeo stopped 31 of 33 shots in goal. With the victory, the Black Bears moved to 3-3-3 on the season.
The Black Bears close out the weekend series with Northeast Sunday at 6:30pm. The squad returns home to Odenton next week with a Friday and Saturday set against the Johnstown Tomahawks.
