Beall, Parker Rejoin Racing; Pokorny Signs National Team Replacement Player Contract

Racing Louisville FC on Thursday announced the return of goalkeeper Hillary Beall and forward Riley Parker from loan and the signing of midfielder Maddie Pokorny to a National Team Replacement Player contract.

Beall and Pokorny will be available for selection for Racing's July 1 match at OL Reign in Seattle, as will Parker, pending the receipt of her International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

"We are excited to welcome Riley and Hillary back to Racing and for Maddie to join us this summer in Louisville," said Racing general manager Ryan Dell. "All three players bring unique experience to the club, and we look forward to seeing their contributions to our team."

The moves coincide with the departures of several Racing players expected to play in next month's FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. Alex Chidiac (Australia), Ary Borges (Brazil), Savannah DeMelo (United States) and Thembi Kgatlana (South Africa) have already left Louisville to be with their national teams, while Uchenna Kanu (Nigeria) will leave this weekend.

Chinese forward Wang Shuang is also expected to join her national team next week.

Beall spent the winter and spring on loan with first-year club Western United FC in Australia's A-League Women, winning Goalkeeper of the Year honors while leading her team to the Grand Final. The 24-year-old Californian is in her second year with Racing.

Parker returns to Louisville after spending the spring on loan with Tigres UANL in Mexico, where she scored two goals in eight appearances. The University of Alabama grad was Racing's fourth-round pick in January's NWSL Draft, coming off a stellar 2022 in which she was an All-American and the SEC Forward of the Year while setting Crimson Tide program records for single-season goals, points and game-winning goals.

Pokorny comes to Racing on a short-term contract after spending the past three years with HB Køge in Denmark. The 26-year-old central midfielder helped HB Køge win three league titles in the Danmarksturneringens Kvindeliga, the Danish Women's League, and qualify for the UEFA Women's Champions League. She scored HB Køge's first-ever goal in the Champions League against Arsenal.

A St. Louis area native who starred in college at Saint Louis University, Pokorny scored 31 goals in 90 appearances across all competitions with HB Køge. She spent 2019 with the Chicago Red Stars and trained with the Kansas City Current in 2022.

Racing kicks off at 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday at OL Reign at Lumen Field in Seattle in an NWSL regular-season match.
