Beach Bums Rained Out

Traverse City Beach Bums News Release


TRAVERSE CITY, MI - Tonight's game between the Traverse City Beach Bums'(19-29) and the Windy City Thunderbolts(24-24), has been postponed due to inclement weather. The teams will now play a single-admission doubleheader, tomorrow night, with game one starting at 6:05pm, and game two starting, approximately 30 minutes after the completion of game one. Both games will be seven innings.

In game one, Austin Bembnowski will take the hill for the Beach Bums and Brady Miller goes for Windy City. Then, in game two, Kramer Champlin starts for Traverse City while Ryan Strombom gets the call for the Thunderbolts. Tom Willms will have the call for both games, starting with the Miller Lite Pregame show at 5:45pm, on 101.9- The Bay.

Tomorrow night, join us for a night dedicated to the banning of distracted driving. Red Thumbs will be given away to encourage fans not to text and drive. It will also be Short's Tap Takeover Saturday, featuring awesome brews from the Short's Brewing Company. Finally, be sure to stay after the doubleheader for another FANtastic Fireworks show. The gates will open at 4pm.

The Beach Bums business offices are open from 9am to 6pm, Monday through Friday. Sponsorships, season tickets, group packages, patio tables, and suite, are all currently available for the 2016 season. The Box Office & Gift Ship are now open with non-gameday hours of 10am to 6pm Monday through Friday, 10am to 4pm on Saturday. Wuerfel Park is closed on non-gameday Sundays. Stadium hours are extended on gamedays.
