Chesapeake Baysox News Release
BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce today a Girl Scout Lock-In at Prince George's Stadium Friday, June 3, as the team takes on the New Britain Rock Cats at 7:05 p.m. The lock-in features discounted tickets for scouts and their parents, games and activities on the concourse and the option to camp out in the outfield.
Scouts and their parents can purchase lower reserved seat tickets for $10 (regularly $14) or upper reserved seat tickets for $7 (regularly $9 for youth or $11 for adults). The team is also offering discounted food vouchers for the event.
Baysox Promotions Manager Chris Rogers planned the event. "The lock-in is one of our biggest events of the summer," Rogers said. "Last year we had more than 400 people participate. This year, we have tons of fun activities planned for the concourse and the suite levels of the stadium, and participants are once again invited to camp in tents in the outfield."
Stadium gates open at 6 p.m. and participants will be recognized with a special pre-game parade at 6:20 p.m. After the game, the team will set up separate stations for dance lessons, arts and crafts and other activities.
For more information or to order discounted tickets and food vouchers, fans can contact Chris Rogers at (301) 464-4813 or crogers@baysox.com, or visit www.baysoxshop.com. Tent space is limited and must be reserved in advance.
Baysox Baseball - We'll Knock Your 'Sox Off. The Baysox 19th season as the class Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles is underway. Parking is free at every Baysox home game and tickets are now available at www.baysox.com or by calling the Baysox box office at (301) 464-4865.
