Baysox Prepare Pair Of Doubleheaders

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox will make up a pair of road games at Prince George's Stadium over the final weeks of the season. In accordance with Minor League Baseball rules, both games of the doubleheaders will be seven-inning contests, with approximately 30 minutes separating the games.

Bowie will play the first doubleheader against the Akron Aeros on Wednesday, Aug. 26, at 6:05 p.m. to make up the game originally scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 20. The team will play the second doubleheader against the Harrisburg Senators on Friday, Sept. 5, at 5:35 p.m., to make up the game originally scheduled for Thursday, July 23. Stadium gates will open 30 minutes before each scheduled start time.

In addition to the doubleheaders, the Baysox will also make up a pair of promotions that were rained out earlier in the season. Party Like It's 1929 Night will be made up on Monday, Aug. 24, at 7:05 p.m., and the Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament will be made up on Thursday, Aug. 27, at 7:05 p.m.
