Chesapeake Baysox News Release

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox are selling game-used jerseys through an online auction at www.baysox.com through Tuesday, Nov. 30, at 3 p.m. The home white jerseys of the 2010 team are available, as well as Zach Britton's orange batting practice and gray road jerseys. All jerseys have the players' number and nameplate stitched on the back and come with a letter of authenticity.

Fans must be registered bidders at www.baysoxshop.com to participate in the auction. All items carry a minimum reserve starting bid that must be met for the jersey to be sold. For most jerseys, the reserve starting bid is $100 and bid increments are $10, but there are exceptions and some reserve bids are higher. Jersey sizes and minimum reserve bids can be found in the description for each item. Complete auction rules are available at http://www.baysoxshop.com/auctions/.

After the auction, winning bidders will be contacted by a member of Baysox staff to arrange payment and shipping. The Baysox only accept major credit cars for payment. Cash and personal checks are not accepted. Shipping and handling will be added to each jersey to cover U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail.

Fans with questions about the jersey auction can e-mail the Baysox at info@baysox.com with a subject line of "Auction."

The Baysox 2010 campaign has come to an end. The Baysox open the 2011 season on the road in Harrisburg Thursday, April 7. They play their first game at Prince George's Stadium Thursday, April 14, at 7:05 p.m. Baysox holiday ticket packages make a great gift and are now available at www.baysox.com.
