MOBILE, AL- BayBears lefthander Sean Thompson (1-3) held the Montgomery Biscuits to two hits, and allowed two runs in Mobile's 7-2 win Tuesday night. The win ended a three game losing skid for the BayBears. A four-run fourth inning carried the BayBears. Greg Sain led off the fourth with a solo home run, and RBIs by Ronnie Merrill and Paul McAnulty gave the BayBears a 5-1 lead at the end of four.
The BayBears would add one in the fifth and one in the seventh, and had fourteen hits total. Scott Autrey (3-7) allowed seven earned runs in the loss.
The BayBears and Biscuits finish their series at 11:35 AM Wednesday at Hank Aaron Stadium. All BayBears games can be heard on 1480 AM WABB, Comcast Cable Channel 59, and on the internet via www.mobilebaybears.com.
