PEARL, Miss. - The Mobile BayBears, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, took an early lead but were outlasted by the Mississippi Braves 10-3 Tuesday night at Trustmark Park.

After Mississippi (14-18) scored a run in the first, Riley Unroe drove in two runs with a single in the second. It was the second straight game that Unroe has collected a pair of RBIs. However, the BayBears' lead was short-lived.

The Braves responded with four runs in the bottom of the second and added three more in the third. Jose Rodriguez (1-4) lasted just 2 1/3 innings in his shortest start of the season.

Bryse Wilson (1-0) earned the win in his Double-A debut. He gave up three runs on five hits in five innings pitched. He walked one batter, struck out four, and gave up a home run to Jose Rojas.

Three Mississippi players had three-hit games, and Connor Lien went 4-for-4. Lien was just a triple away from hitting for the cycle, and Alay Lago finished a home run shy of the cycle. Michael Reed and Tyler Marlette also had three hits.

The BayBears continue the five-game road series against Mississippi Wednesday at 10:35 a.m. CDT. Right-handed pitcher Griffin Canning (1-0, 2.41 ERA) is scheduled to make the start against righty Touki Toussaint (2-1, 3.56 ERA) for the Braves.
