The 2023 Indoor Football League Champion, the Bay Area Panthers, will hold open tryouts to continue assembling the roster for the upcoming season. The Bay Area Panthers Tryout Showcase is set for Saturday, March 1st, 2025, at Jaguar Stadium at San Jose City College.

The entire Panthers' coaching staff, led by 7-Time Professional Football Champion and Head Coach Rob Keefe, will be evaluating all players during the tryout.

"The Bay Area Panthers are extremely excited to host our open player tryout for the upcoming 2025 season," said Keefe.

"This is an opportunity for all prospective players to showcase their talents and prove to our organization that they deserve a professional football contract. I am confident that we will find the diamond in the rough that we are searching for."

Participants must be 18 years or older

Athlete Pricing:

Athlete pre-registration: $65.00 (flat fee)

Walk-up in-person registration: $80.00 (flat fee)

When you pre-register online, you will receive a digital confirmation for entrance via email. Please have your confirmation ready on your phone or printed for entry at the gate.

Pre-registration closes at 08:59 P.M. on February 28th, 2025.

Athletes, Day-Of Logistics:

In-person registration/check-in will begin at 7:00 A.M.

The on-field evaluation and testing will start promptly at 9:00 A.M.

Some further details about what the tryouts will entail are as follow:

Jaguar Stadium is made up of FieldTurf (click here for stadium information)

Athletes will be tested in the 40-yard dash and short shuttle.

Athletes will compete in position-specific drills and 1 on 1's.

The tryout is non-contact. Helmets and pads are not necessary.

Athletes must provide their own cleats, shorts, and athletic gear.

Athletes will be issued a Bay Area Panthers open tryout t-shirt.

Athletes must provide their own water/sports drink.

Athletes must be prepared on arrival. No locker room is available.

Bathrooms available onsite.

The Saturday tryout showcase will have a community corner filled with a full schedule of events and programming for athlete's families and loved ones, football fans, and the general public to enjoy a day full of entertainment, food, and fun all while watching the athletes on the field vie for a chance for their professional football dreams to come true.

Season ticket-holders will be able to attend to pick up their 2025 season ticket-holder pins and season surprise gift.
