The Jr. Blues are back on the ice Friday night in their final preseason contest versus the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. U of I is an ACHA Division I team. Last season U of I lost in the Elite Eight of the National tournament ending up as the 7th rank team in the nation with a 25-11-2 record.
The Jr. Blues enter the game 3-0 in the preseason outscoring their opponents 20-3. The team opens the regular season next week in the NAHL Blaine, MN Showcase with 4 games starting on Wednesday.
Come out and cheer on the Jr. Blues as the puck drops at 7:05 at the Nelson Center. Tickets are $5 at the door.
