The Charleston Battery lost 2-1 last Saturday versus the Atlanta Silverbacks, Chris Goos scored the lone Battery goal
Midfielder's Ted Chronopoulos and Lazo Alavanja are expected to join the Battery camp this week after their indoor season with the Chicago Fire ended.
Friday is World Record Attempt night as the Battery attempt to set a new Guinness World Record for the most people wearing Groucho Marx Glasses in one location. The attempt will be made during the final 15 minutes of the first half.
Media Buffet: Once again working media are welcome to eat in the Three Lions Club before home matches. The Battery added Chef Peter Thomason to its roster of pre-season signings, Fridays menu is: Burgundy braised tenderloin tips in porcinni mushroom sauce, roasted garlic mashed potatoes with fresh scallions, fresh green beans with roasted pecans and grape tomatoes, Caesar salad with heads of romaine, imported parmesan and herbal croutons, sweet summer strawberries with fresh crème and sponge cake, bread and bread.
