Charleston Battery News Release
CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Charleston Battery announced Friday the continuation of their partnership with premium hydration provider, Recover 180°, through the 2022 regular season.
As a hydration solution for athletes and active lifestyles, the company will continue supplying Battery players with their electrolyte sports drink during training sessions and matches at Patriots Point. Recover 180° further expands their presence and partnership with the Battery this season, becoming the official sleeve sponsor on the club's new home and away kits, and assisting the Battery in community activations throughout the year.
"We're excited to continue our partnership with Recover 180°," said Ryan Knapp, director of business development for the Battery. "Our work together in 2021 was a resounding success. Now, to have such an innovative brand come back and want to further build together with our club, our fans, and our community initiatives, we're thrilled about the work we can do in 2022."
Through the partnership, the Recover 180° logo will be displayed prominently on the sleeve of the Battery's jerseys each match this season. The sports drink will also continue to be provided to players for rapid rehydration at training and on matchday, as well as being available to fans in-stadium at every home match this season.
"We're thrilled to continue our work with the Charleston Battery," added Recover 180° Senior Vice President Brad Neumann. "As we keep growing in the Charleston market, we're looking forward to our continued alignment with a great organization like the Battery. As the club continues its outreach in the community with youth clinics and other activations, we're excited to be a part of the team that's bringing the community together."
"Having a partner that wants to be actively involved with us in the community is very important to us," Knapp added. "As things have been opening up again, we're excited to get back out across Charleston and have partners such as Recover 180° with us along the way."
