Elly De La Cruz smashed his first career Triple-A walk-off home run, a two-run shot in the bottom of the ninth to lift the Bats 5-4 over Worcester. De La Cruz finished the night 1-for-3 with the home run, two RBI and two stolen bases.

Andrew Abbott turned in his second quality of start of the season with the Bats, tossing a career-high 7.0 innings, allowing two runs on six hits with eight strikeouts and zero walks.

Nick Martini and Michael Siani were the only two other Bats to record a hit on the night, tallying one hit each.

With the win, the Bats earned their seventh consecutive series opening win, marking the longest series opening game win streak since 2010 when the Bats won eight in a row (July 10 - August 9).
