
Baseball cap giveaway to highlight Rascals' second homestand

O'FALLON, MO - The River City Rascals' second homestand will begin on Saturday, June 3rd when the Florence Freedom make their first trip of the 2006 season to T.R. Hughes Ballpark. First pitch for the series opener will be at 7:05 as the Rascals present Edward Jones Hat Night. The first 1,000 fans entering the ballpark will receive a baseball cap with the Rascals' new team colors courtesy of Edward Jones.
Sunday's game will be a Kids Club Night presented by Children's Hospital. All children will have the opportunity to run the bases at the completion of the Rascals game against the Freedom. Members of the Little Rascals Kids Club receive two complementary general admission tickets to all Sunday home games. For more information on how your child can sign up for the kids club, contact the Rascals front office at (636) 240-BATS. First pitch for Kids Club Night will be at 6:05.
In the series finale, the Rascals will present an evening of peace and love as they pay tribute to the 1960s. All of the music and promotions for the evening will feature a very special 60's theme. Monday's game is also a McDonald's Monday where everyone in attendance will receive a coupon for a free Big Mac at participating McDonald's. The series finale will begin at 7:05 and parking at T.R. Hughes Ballpark for all three games of this homestand is free. Gates will open exactly one hour before the scheduled start time.
