
Barrie Colts to Celebrate 20th Anniversary Season

Barrie, ON-Horsepower Sports & Entertainment announced today that the Barrie Colts hockey club will celebrate their 20th Anniversary Season during the 2014-15 OHL campaign with a wide-ranging set of initiatives that will officially launch during Hockey Night in Barrie, Thursday, August 14th , 2014.
At this years Hockey Night in Barrie former Colts Alumni will be wearing a 20th Anniversary themed jersey to begin the festivities.
"The Barrie Colts 20th Anniversary Season is going to be a special one for our fans, partners, supporters, staff, players, coaches, and the entire Barrie and Simcoe County Region," said Colts Owner & President Howie Campbell. "
The Barrie Colts season celebration will include a commemorative logo, a 20th Anniversary Season memory book, special giveaways and collectible merchandise, in arena branding throughout the Barrie Molson Centre, featured Top 40 Alumni and the Colts will be wearing a new third jersey throughout the season, plus much more.
"I was at the very first Colts game played at the Barrie Molson Centre and haven't missed too many since. 20 years went by very fast, but I am very happy to be a part of the organization now, as we celebrate our 20th Anniversary," said Co-Owner Jim Payetta.
At every Barrie Colts home game this season a former player or coach will be featured in our Top 40 Alumni on the video-board and ticket stubs.
The Ontario Hockey League and Barrie Colts media partner Rogers TV Barrie will also fully support the Colts 20th Anniversary Campaign during all broadcasts.
