
Barrett Named Young Plumbing and Heating Player of the Week

Waterloo, IA - The Waterloo Bucks, a member of the Northwoods League, have announced that Austin Barrett has been named the Young Plumbing & Heating Bucks Player of the Week. McClain is a Mims, Florida native and is currently attending Mercer University in Macon, Georgia.
In his last five games, Barrett hit .389 (7-18) with one double, two RBI and four runs scored. He was also walked once and was hit by a pitch to round out the 20 plate appearances. In that time span, his on-base percentage was .450 while slugging .444 to go with an OPS of .894.

The Bucks next home game is Wednesday, June 13 against the Rochester Honkers. First pitch for that game is set for 1:05 p.m. Before that game though, Waterloo is on the road for two at Rochester beginning tonight at 7:05.
