
Barracudas Opening Night Roster Set

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Jacksonville Barracudas Head Coach Ron Duguay today announced the Barracudas official roster for the 2003-04 WHA2 season.
"We only had one question mark on one of the forward positions going into camp, otherwise the roster was pretty much set," Duguay said.
This season Barracudas will feature eight forwards, five defensemen and two goalies. Of the 15 players, six return from last year's squad. The WHA2 allows for 14 players and two goalies. With the Barracudas one skater under the limit, look for them to sign another player soon.

Today, the Barracudas released veteran center Brent Scott.
The Barracudas start the WHA2 season with four games on the road before returning home for the Home Opening Weekend Celebration on Friday, November 28th vs. Miami Manatees. Face-off time is 7:05 and the JEDC Sports and Entertainment Council is sponsoring the first sporting event ever in the new Jacksonville Veteran's Memorial Arena. Then on Saturday, November 29th, the Barracudas battle the Macon Trax with a special 12:35pm matinee start.
