
Barons Play Two Preseason Games on the Road this Weekend

Oklahoma City - The Oklahoma City Barons two preseason games this weekend, both on the road.
They take on the defending American Hockey League champion Texas Stars in Cedar Park, Texas at 7 p.m. on Friday. The Barons travel to San Antonio to take on the Rampage at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Both games air locally. Friday's game can be heard on the Barons flagship station, 96.1 KXY. Saturday's contest can be heard on AM-1340, The Game. Jim Byers returns as the voice of the Barons and provides play-by-play for all Barons games this season. Doug Sauter handles color commentary duties for home games.
The Barons home opener is Friday, October 17 against the Texas Stars at 7 p.m. at the Cox Convention Center. For more information about tickets, call the Barons office at 232-GOAL.
NOTE: The Edmonton Oilers assigned goaltender Laurent Broissoit and defenseman David Musil to Oklahoma City. The Barons training camp roster now stands at 31.
