
Comets Announce Promotional Schedule for 2014-15

The Utica Comets are pleased to announce their promotional schedule for the 2014-15 season. Great giveaways, jersey auctions, and exciting theme nights highlight the second season of Utica Comets hockey.
Opening weekend at The AUD kicks off the promotional calendar on Wednesday, Oct. 22 when everyone in attendance will receive a Comets jersey -shaped rally towel presented by NY State Tool. On Friday, Oct. 24, all fans will receive a 2014-15 magnetic schedule courtesy of Assist2Sell. Then on Saturday, Oct. 25, the weekend wraps up with the Galaxy Fan Fest at 3 p.m. leading into the Comets and Toronto Marlies at 7 p.m.
Other giveaways include pennants (Feb. 8), bobbleheads (April 10), and team pictures (April 12).
The Comets will wear specialty jerseys three times this season and they will be auctioned off following the game for charity. On Jan. 16, the Comets will once again wear pink to raise money and awareness for the fight against breast cancer. The Comets will honor the Oneida County Sheriffs with a special jersey on March 1. Then on March 28, the Comets will don camouflage and honor the men and women of the military.
All Wednesday games, excluding opening night, will continue to be College Nights again this year with $12 tickets - with a valid student ID - and $2 Labatt Blue and Blue Light drafts.
Tickets to individual games will go on sale on Saturday, Oct. 4. They will be available at the Utica Memorial Auditorium box office at 10 a.m. and will be sold over the phone and online through Ticketmaster at 1 p.m.
