Cleveland Barons News Release
CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Barons will continue their relationship with the Cleveland Clinic for the 2003-04 season. Michael T. Lehr, President of the Cleveland Barons, made the announcement.
The Cleveland Clinic will return for the third consecutive season as the "Health-Care Provider of the Cleveland Barons". The Clinic will provide medical assistance to the Barons throughout the season. Dr. Alan Davis M.D. will continue to serve as the Barons team doctor. Dave Zenobi will also return as the team's athletic trainer.
Each season, the Cleveland Clinic hosts a Pupil Activity Validation Course to educate coaches on the physical ramifications of the sport. The coach's clinic will be held on Saturday, November 8th from 8:30am-1:30pm. To register, contact Tricia Hamad at 440-878-3341.
"Regrettably, injuries are a serious part of our game," stated Lehr. "Fortunately, the Cleveland Clinic offers world-class medical care that not only maximizes recovery time, but keeps our guys on the ice."
The Barons open up the season at home on October 11th at 7:00pm. Group tickets for the game are now available by calling the Barons ticket staff at 216-420-0000. Season Tickets and several Partial Plan Ticket Packages are available as well. More information can be found by Crashing The Net at www.clevelandbarons.net.
