The Lancaster Barnstormers hit three home runs en route to a 9-3 victory over the Camden Riversharks. Lancaster (17-8) improves to 4-1 against Camden this season as Ross Peeples (2-2) picked up his first win since May 20th.
Alvin Colina put the Barnstormers on the board first in the top of the 2nd with an RBI groundout bringing home Terry Tiffee.
Their lead didn't last long as Brian Burgamy tied the game in the bottom of the 2nd with his 5th home run of the season. Camden took their first lead a few batters later after Noah Hall drove home Toby Hall with an RBI double making it 2-1.
But just like they did last night, the Barnstormers used the long ball to build up a large lead. J.C. Two batters later, Matt Watson hit a two-run home run to double the Barnstormers lead and make it 6-2.
Lancaster hit their third home run of the night in the 6th inning when Fernando Seguignol launched a three-run home run off reliever Eddy Camacho, his fourth of the season.
Eight of the nine Barnstormers runs came with two outs in the game giving Lancaster 16 two-out runs in the first two games of this series.
The Barnstormers and Riversharks will play the final game of their three-game series tomorrow as Cesar Carrillo (1-0) will face off against Carlos Vasquez (0-0). First pitch is scheduled for 11:00 AM. Individual and group tickets can be purchased online at www.riversharks.com or by calling 1-866-SHARKS-9.
