Iowa Barnstormers News Release
OSKALOOSA, IA. -The Iowa Barnstormers 2012 training camp is off to a wild start as the team completed day #3 of workouts this morning at the Penn Activities Center on the campus of William Penn University in Oskaloosa. The team has spent most of the first three days learning the playbook and getting to know each other. With just 5 holdovers from last year's team and a new coaching staff, there is much to be learned.
When asked to comment on the first 3 days of practice, head coach Mike Hohensee had nothing but good things to say. "I'm really excited about the caliber of athletes we have at this camp. Everyone has met or exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to see the group go at it in full pads tomorrow. Per AFL rules the Barnstormers could not practice in pads until completing 3 practice sessions. The full practice schedule for the remainder of the week can be found below.
Wednesday, February 22: 8:00AM -11:20 AM Penn Activities Center
