
Barnstormers Single-Game Tickets On Sale Saturday

LANCASTER, Pa.-A family of four will be able to attend a Lancaster Barnstormers baseball game for as low as $12 in 2009. All individual game tickets, including tickets to Opening Day, will go on sale Saturday, March 7.
Single-game tickets will go on sale in person only at the Clipper Magazine Stadium box office on Saturday, March 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Barnstormers coaches Von Hayes and Tom Herr will join Cylo in welcoming fans who line up for tickets. Hayes and Herr will sign autographs in the Inside Corner team store.
The Barnstormers are also offer up to a 25 percent discount on all regularly-priced merchandise with any ticket purchase during the day.
"Barnstormers baseball has always been affordable, always a great value for family entertainment," Barnstormers general manager Vince Bulik said. "And when times are tough, we want to bring people together as a community and cheer for the home team."
Barnstormers fans can also save up to $2 per ticket by becoming a season or mini-plan ticket holder. In 2009, fans will receive a Fifth Anniversary "Signing Bonus," including Barnstormers Bucks (stadium-only currency used for concessions, merchandise and additional game tickets) as well as free passes to stadium amusements (Wheatland FCU Home Run Harbor, Weis Horse Around Corral, etc.).
General admission ticket prices will again be $6 per ticket in 2009. Youth 12 and younger who wear their athletic league jersey will again receive free admission thanks the club's popular "Kids for Free" program, a partnership with Lancaster General to promote healthy lifestyles. That means a family of four could attend a baseball game for as little as $12.
Regular field box seats will be $9 and a limited number of dugout box seats are available for single-game purchase at $11.
Single-game tickets will remain on sale online only after the March 7 sale. The stadium box office will open for regular season hours (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) on Monday, April 6. Tickets will also be available for purchase in person during the Barnstormers annual FanFest on Saturday, April 4. Tickets to all spring training events held in Lancaster will go on sale at that time.
The Barnstormers will open the 2009 baseball season at home for the fourth year in a row, when they host the Newark Bears on Thursday, April 23 at 7:05 p.m.
