Barnstormers Single-Game Tickets on Sale March 31

LANCASTER, Pa.-The Lancaster Barnstormers will unveil a new fan-friendly online ticket system during a special internet pre-sale of 2008 single-game tickets. Barnstormers single-game tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, March 31 online ONLY.

The sale excludes single-game tickets for Opening Day, which will go on sale prior to the Barnstormers annual FanFest at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 5. Priority seating for Opening Day will be made only for season ticket holders and fans who purchase tickets in-person on April 5. Phone and online orders for Opening Day tickets will not be accepted until noon.

"Our fans are going to love our new online ticketing system," Barnstormers general manager Kevin Cummings said. "This spring, we want to introduce our fans to how simple and convenient the system is, and we also want to preserve our fans' tradition of lining up for Opening Day tickets prior to FanFest. That's why those who do will receive priority seating for Opening Day."

The Barnstormers new online ticket system allows fans to select specific seats at Clipper Magazine Stadium when ordering online with no additional ticketing fees. The system will also allow fans to order tickets online on the day of the game to avoid lines at the box office. Fans who purchase tickets in advance online, over the phone or in person will also save $1 off the regular walk-up price for tickets.

The Barnstormers will open the 2008 season at home on Friday, April 25, 2008 against the Bridgeport Bluefish. The team will play 70 games at home in 2008 and featured promotions include 15 fireworks shows, numerous giveaways and special theme nights throughout the season.
