Barnstormers Round up Training Camp Roster with Rookie Duo

DES MOINES - Iowa Barnstormers Head Coach and Director of Football Operations Mike Hohensee announced today that rookies Rennie Moore and Julian Williams have been assigned to the team for the 2014 season.

Moore (6-4, 250, Clemson) recorded a total of 106 tackles, 22.5 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, 26 QB pressures, and two pass breakups in 1,271 snaps over 46 career games at Clemson University. The well-known defensive tackle was named Co-Defensive Player-of-the-Game in the ACC Championship Game against Virginia Tech during his senior year (2011). Following his collegiate career, Moore signed as an undrafted free agent with the Houston Texans of the National Football League in 2012.

Williams (6-1, 180, Marian University) played in 45 games for the Marian Knights, collecting 128 receptions, 1,809 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 16 rushes for 117 yards. Also getting some playing time on special teams, he returned 50 kicks for 1,072 yards and 2 touchdowns. During his senior season (2011), Williams led the team in kick returns, 8 for 273 yards. As a freshman, the wide receiver was named All-MSFA Mideast League Honorable Mention.
