Barnstormers Re-Sign Tyler Wells

DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers welcome a familiar face to their offensive line with the signing of Tyler Wells. Additionally, Head Coach Joe Brannen announced the team has signed offensive lineman Will Harris and wide receivers Jon Meadows and Milton Colbert.
Wells (6-5, 300, Grand View) enters his third season with the Iowa Barnstormers, his first in the Indoor Football League (IFL). The past two seasons, Wells has been brought on to the Barnstormers roster mid-season to assist an offensive line depleted by injury. Prior to playing professional football, Wells was a two-sport athlete at Grand View University.
Harris (6-5, 305, Midwestern State) played two seasons of collegiate football for the Mustangs. His senior year, Harris started all ten games at right tackle and earned second-team All-Lone Star Conference honors. Prior to transferring to Midwestern State, Harris attended Arizona Western College.
Meadows (6-1, 205, West Virginia Wesleyan) is a second year veteran of the IFL after playing his rookie season with the Green Bay Blizzard. In six games with the Blizzard, Meadows collected 26 receptions, 298 yards, and five touchdowns. Prior to pursuing professional football, he led the nation in receptions and earned first team All-American honors. In four years with the Bobcats, Meadows recorded 244 catches for 3,049 yards and 26 touchdowns.
Colbert (6-5, 220, Illinois State) transferred from Michigan State to begin a career at Illinois State University where he started 23 games in two years. In 2013, Colbert showed off his big-play capability, averaging 22.5 yards per catch and concluded his senior season with a 3 catch, 70 yard performance against Southern Illinois.
