Barnstormers Introduce New Radio Home

Fans of the Lancaster Barnstormers will have a new place to listen to exciting Atlantic League action in 2012, it was announced today.

Barnstormers' evening and Sunday games will be aired on both WLAN-AM, 1390, a Clear Channel station based in downtown Lancaster, and on the station's web stream at 1390wlan.com. A cell phone app is in development as well.

Each broadcast will begin with the 20-minute Dugout Report and conclude with the nightly "Wrap Up" show.

Dave Collins will return as the Voice of the Barnstormers for the eighth season, his 24th overall broadcasting minor league baseball. He will call his 1000th Barnstormers game near the halfway point of the 2012 campaign. Lancaster native Tom Arnold will join Collins on home games for the sixth straight year.

The coverage begins with the season opener Thursday evening, April 26 from Regency Furniture Stadium in Waldorf, MD. Air time is 6:45.

The Lancaster Barnstormers are entering their eighth season as a member of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
